Onsite and hosted Multi Tenant VoIP – Edinburgh installation complete

We have just completed a new installation of our multi-tenant onsite VoIP PBX for an Edinburgh Business Centre.

Running their voice traffic over a newly installed 4 pair EFM, this central Edinburgh business centre has reduced their existing ISDN channels down from 60 to 0. The line rental for these channels was coming in at roughly £780 per month, a cost which we have removed after trunking all of the voice traffic over a 4 pair circuit (£350 per month) saving £430 in service charges.

we have configured QoS on the router allocating 5mb of bandwidth for VoIP traffic and installed 2 MPF lines for failover should the first 4 pairs suffer a serious outage.

all of the broadband traffic for the building is running over the EFM and with an average speed of 18mb up and down tenants are over the moon.

Call costs have also been reduced and our onsite PBX automatically bills tenants with a pre-programmed mark up on the call charges.

Our service also allows tenants who are leaving to take their number with them if they ever move on. This also allows the business centre to maintain a revenue stream from previous tenants.
